The VJC (formerly known as The Vinyl Junkies) is a nationwide collective of musicians, DJs and MCs founded by Project Blowed student DJ X-Ro. Members are from Atlanta , North Carolina , New York City and of course, California . The crew released a critically acclaimed wax-only EP world wide called “What’s The Meaning” in 2003. The group eventually formed the label, VJC Recordings which is home to groundbreaking artists SumKid Majere, Clan Destined, The McKinley Pros and BadTouch. Sounds range from experimental to club-ready funk and classic hip-hop.
